Happiness stays between 0 and 8. St. Peter's Basilica doubles only Happy Faces, and the Kremlin's two unhappy faces are subtracted afterward; with two Temples, St. Peter's and the Kremlin that is 8 faces minus 2 for Happiness 6. The total is worked out first and then capped at 8.
