Yes. A blockade works like a normal space, so a card with enough power can pay for it and carry on onto the next matching space. The rulebook's example uses a machete-3 card to cover a one-machete blockade and then continue onto green. Leftover power is optional, and you cannot top up from a different card mid-move.
