How do half (broken) baskets work?
The rulebook's basket rules say two broken baskets combine and are used once.

Two broken baskets make one regular basket, usable for a single rescue. One broken basket alone cannot rescue a cat but may still be played for its boots. When you rescue, you discard one regular basket, two broken ones, or flip a permanent basket.
