Each Altar tile holds two Shamans, one per space; instead of a normal turn you move a lying-down Shaman to the next counter-clockwise Altar standing up, choose one of the two spaces and claim only that space's reward (Discovery tile or benefit, not both). A standing Shaman adds a virtual worker to the board it points to and is laid down after that main action; a lying Shaman does nothing. A Shaman stands again whenever it is moved, including by displacement.
