It skips its Perform Action step and its owner rolls one attack die, and the ship suffers any damage or critical damage rolled. This happens when either the maneuver template or the ship's final base position overlaps the obstacle token, even if the base ends clear of it. The ship rolls no defense dice, and shields soak the damage first.
