Does barrel rolling onto a bomb or mine detonate it, and can a mine be rolled away from?

Yes. Per the Rules Reference as quoted by players, a bomb that detonates when a ship overlaps it does so whether the ship was maneuvering, barrel rolling or moving by another effect. Conversely, a barrel roll away from a mine (for example with Advanced Sensors) means the maneuver template then never overlaps it, so it does not detonate.
