Is the Leverage cost for Get Protection paid per Family Member, and what counts as my Leverage?

Per Family Member. Each one you send costs your turn-order price (4 in the leftmost column, 3 in the next, and so on). Your pool is the Leverage in the top right corner of each Operations card on your board, plus Leverage tokens and Associate bonuses. The pool is spent across the whole action, so with 4 Leverage in first place you can protect only one building. Leverage printed on the card does not use up the card.
