Can you add cards to a stone after it has been claimed?

No — once a stone is claimed, neither player may play any more cards to it, even if the claimant's combination is incomplete. This also removes the opponent's place to dump cards. Wording in one printing suggested otherwise, but the rules and earlier editions agree.
