How do slot-symbol cards work: can I stack several, and does each new card reactivate the cards below?

A card with a slot symbol lets you play another card in that slot later; the symbol card itself must be played first. Each new card reactivates every card in that slot of its colour, and each matching module fires once. Any colour can go on top, but you only gain benefits from cards and modules whose colour matches. There is no stated limit on stack height beyond needing a card with a slot frame to build on.
