How does the card that copies another card's effect work?

You may copy only one of your own cards, never an opponent's. You copy only the effect printed on that card, not any slot module attached to it, though the card you play can still trigger modules and chains. A copied continuous effect (such as a discount while in play) lasts only that turn, and a while-in-play effect gains no lasting bonus from being copied.
