How does a round end and who is eliminated?
The designer described elimination and the last player standing winning, and the rulebook says the same.

You are eliminated if you cannot be winning at the end of your turn (or have no cards in hand at the start of it). Play continues until one player is left, and that player wins the round, even with no cards left. An eliminated player's hand and Palette are set aside and stop counting for the rule.
