Do you draw a card at the end of your turn?
The designer told players not to add an end-of-turn draw; the rulebook lists no such step.

No. The basic game has no drawing. Cards come only from the Advanced draw (discarding a card higher than your Palette size) and the optional 3 action. Do not invent an end-of-turn draw.
