Can I kill or subdue a Jarl if I cannot absorb all of its wounds?
No. If your crew cannot take all the wounds you must flee. Subduing also needs the Jarl's Silver cost paid, and if you cannot pay it, you kill or flee instead. Buffs do not raise how many wounds a crew member can take.
