How do the Trust rules count the Trust for plant limits, refill rates and setup?

The Trust counts as a third player for the plant limit (3 plants for each human and for the Trust) and the resource refill. However, remove plants at setup using the two-player counts (1 plug-back and 5 socket-back cards), because the Trust takes more plants than a human on average. The two-player and three-player refill values are identical.
