How does the Trader's bonus work?

Whenever you take a ship of your Trader's colour and sell it, you get one extra coin, on your turn or another player's. Each matching Trader adds one coin. Discarding or repelling a ship does not trigger it, and Trader flags do not count towards the harbor's flag total.
