Do I need Just One More Contract to play The Adventure Begins, and can I combine them?
No, you do not need Just One More Contract. The Adventure Begins needs the base game's playing cards, though. Its rulebook says to shuffle them with the expansion's cards. The designer says the Contracts cannot be combined with it, but the other new cards can be added. The bigger deck makes specific cards harder to find in solo or co-op.
