Can a rover carrying a meteorite still collect lifepods on the way?
The rulebook says collecting happens by moving onto or through; carrying is a Horizon rule.

Yes. A rover collects a lifepod by moving onto or through it, so carrying a meteorite does not stop that. Moving onto a second meteorite would be a different matter, since a rover holds only one meteorite.
