How does Pajitnov's sliding rule work?
The designer confirmed the slide-as-far-as-possible reading.

You must be able to slide the tile into place; the designer confirmed it slides as far as it will go without moving other tiles, and gaps where it stops are fine. Players also read it as one straight slide from the board edge with no rotating or nudging. Biomass patches need not slide.
