Do all actions on a favored-suit card count as bonus actions?
Several experienced players agree on this and nothing in the rulebook contradicts it; there is no official ruling.

Yes. Any action on a court card of the favored suit is a bonus action and does not count toward your two actions, but each card still gives only one action per turn. Actions on cards of other suits use up one of your two actions.
