When a Season effect says to gain a Water when you gain a Canteen, can I use that Water to fill the new Canteen?
Two posters agree, one with some doubt; it fits the rule that Canteens fill from tokens gained this turn.

Yes. The Water from the Season effect counts as a token gained that turn, so you can place it straight onto the Canteen you just drew. The effect triggers on gaining the Canteen card, not on filling one.
