PARKS
Does a Gear discount (Map, Compass) apply to resources I substitute with Sunscreen or Rain Gear, or to brown any-token boxes?
The publisher ruled on this and the rulebook explains Sunscreen and Rain Gear apply to the printed symbols.

No. Discounts reduce only the symbols printed on the Park card, not resources you swap in using Sunscreen or Rain Gear, and not the brown any-token boxes.
