The rulebook says no one may look at cards after the night and lists the roles that view cards during it.

Not your own original card. You look at it once at the start of the night and nobody looks at cards after the night. The only later views are role actions: the Insomniac rechecks their card at the end of the night, and a Robber or Doppelgänger views the new card they take or copy.
