Which roles should a group use for its first game?

For six players the designer suggests two Werewolves, three Villagers, the Seer, Robber, Troublemaker and Insomniac; for five players drop the Insomniac. It is a good idea to run the first game with the roles dealt face up so everyone sees how they work.
