Normally the Cursed joins one team; the publisher suggests either choosing the team before the game or letting the Cursed be on both as a voting deterrent, winning if either team wins. If a double-team Cursed dies in an Epic game, both teams lose and the Village wins, even if other teams like Aliens are also in play.
