On Mars
What happens if I do not travel in the Shuttle phase?
Nothing: you stand your marker up, keep your turn order space, get no bonus, retrieve no Colonists, produce nothing and place no Discovery tile. Colonists come back only by travelling or through effects such as an LSS reward or a Welcome a Ship bonus, so plan trips to keep them flowing. Production and Colonist return happen only when you actually travel.
