On Mars
How does Automated Production work?
It produces every turn when used, in addition to production from travelling to orbit. Each Colonist sent to the Working Area lets one of your buildings produce once more, whether it is the same building or different ones. With its matching Scientist you can use it free every turn, but it still needs buildings producing and room to store the result.
