Gentry is any guest card, male or female, family included. Ladies are the female cards and gentlemen the male cards, whatever their title; a female family member is a lady. One fleur-de-lis marks a casual guest, two mark a prestige guest. A prestige gentleman requirement needs a gentleman with two fleur-de-lis.
