How does the Solo Estate Challenge start and end, and what do its objectives and chits do?
The expansion rulebook sets the end conditions and the designer answered the start and objective questions.
You start at reputation 1 as in a normal game, with no starting objective cards and no discarding; objectives come only from VP cards and the Main Library, and all you gain are scored. Reaching Max is one of the two end conditions, along with a complete tableau of flipped tiles. You may buy any tile you can afford from any stack; Max is level 7 in standard play (9 in extended). The numbers on the tiles are counts, not prestige ratings, and the extra chits are for solo only.
