The designer gave patterns by category. ESSENTIALS: 0 on the front, its prestige rating on the back. SERVICE: 1 VP (the Barn is 2). ESTATE: rating minus 2 front, rating plus 1 back. PRESTIGE: rating minus 1 front, rating plus 2 back. SPORTING: -1 front, rating plus 1 back. Start, hybrid and promo tiles are exceptions.
