Obsession
How are reputation points scored at the end: do I count the position of the marker, and how is Max scored?
The rulebook's reputation chart gives the values and the designer confirmed there are no incremental points.

Score only the large number on the chart for your final reputation level; the position of the black marker adds nothing. The chart is triangular, so level 5 is 15 VP and level 6 is 21. Max counts as the next level up: 28 VP in standard play (level 7) and 45 in extended play, and Max.1 through Max.5 all score the same. This applies in the Solo Estate Challenge too.
