How many times can I refresh the Builders' Market in one turn, and can I refresh after buying a tile?
The designer's September 2025 posts are the newest word and replace his earlier statements about refreshing after a purchase.
The reputation special action (4 reputation) works only once per turn, but other sources add to it: the free refresh when you pass, each VP card that refreshes the market, and the Useful Man, so up to six refreshes in a turn are possible. Refreshing after you buy is discouraged as against the spirit of the game, but the designer says it is not technically illegal and he dropped it as a hard rule from the Compendium; he had earlier said it was not allowed.
