Do the 2.1E and 2E printings or first-edition content play differently, and which rules do I use?
The 2E and 2.1E printings play identically; differences are administrative, typos and bag quality. If you own first-edition content, use the second-edition rules with the errata, including the second-edition objective card and turn rotation rules, and track the market reserve virtually if you lack the central board. A community player notes the 2020 first printing's rulebook error was corrected later. The Expert Variant now lives in the Variant Catalogue.
