Obsession
Do gentry in my discard pile or hand score at the end, and do guests with a prestige rating above my reputation?
The rulebook says to total the VP of all cards in your gentry deck and the designer confirmed that includes the discard pile.
Yes. Total the VP in the corner of every card in your gentry deck, positive and negative, wherever it is: in hand, in the discard pile, or at an activity. Prestige rating is irrelevant. Dismissed guests are gone and score nothing, while guests taken in the Lionheart Suite do count. The Fairchild card counts only after the final courtship.
