What happens if players tie in a courtship, including a tie at zero or with negative totals?
The rulebook gives the tie rules and the designer confirmed ties, zero and negative totals.

In the first three courtships, each tied player takes a VP card and nobody gets a Fairchild visit for the next season. A tie at zero is still a tie, and negative totals just compare: the less disastrous total wins. In the final courtship ties are broken by reputation level (not position within a level); if still tied, no one gets a Fairchild card but each tied player takes a VP card.
