Can you move through a fire tile, and when does its damage apply?

Yes, you may move through or onto fire. Damage applies only if the creature is still on the fire at the end of the round, and it applies to enemies as well. The designers changed this in second edition, and a large enemy takes only one fire trigger per turn.
