Can you play several games in a row, who starts the next one, and do chips carry over?

The publisher gave the starting-player suggestion; chip reset and scoring are common practice.

Playing more than one game is optional and not in the rulebook. The publisher suggests the player who took the last card starts the next game, as a recommendation only. Players commonly total scores across games, with each game restarting from the setup chip count and a fresh deck rather than carrying chips over. A poster quoting Mayfair rules says to agree the number of rounds beforehand, with four suggested.

“If you choose to play again and add up point somehow, I would start the next game with the person who took the last card in the previous game, but that is just my recommendation.”
