Are multiple Wounds from one effect dealt one at a time, so a character with 3 Serious Wounds dies?

Yes. In Lockdown every Wound, Light or Serious, is dealt and resolved one by one, even when a single effect deals several, and the same goes for the two parts of a card. Any Wound taken while you already have 3 Serious Wounds kills you at once. This is a deliberate difference from original Nemesis, where Wounds from one effect arrive together.
