Do I need the Pilot Compatibility and Nemesis Compatibility cards to play Lockdown on its own?
Only one player's account supports this; there is no official ruling.

No. Those cards exist only to bring original Nemesis aliens, the Pilot and items into Lockdown. A Lockdown-only game does not use them. Cards for Aftermath and other expansions are in the Stretch Goals box.
