Does an Enviro-Suit stop Slime markers or remove an existing one?

No to both. You still get the Slime marker and keep it after picking up a suit; the suit just lets you ignore its effects, such as Silence turning into Danger. Slime is removed only through the Clothes Item, the Decon Room or a Fire Blanket.
