When is Darkness checked during an Intruder Attack with several effects?
Resolve the card from top to bottom and check Darkness right before the Darkness part. If an earlier wound puts you in Darkness (the EYES wound), the Darkness part applies. A Wound from the upper text that gives you your third Serious Wound does not kill you by itself, but a further Wound from the Darkness part does. The two parts count as separate instances of damage, and all Wounds are dealt one by one. Some posters think Darkness status is fixed at the start of the attack.
