If the last active Character leaves, dies or locks in while Autodestruction is active, you advance the Time token to the Autodestruction token and resolve it, so the Facility explodes. Posters applying the original Nemesis FAQ say the same, and that it still destroys the Facility if nobody is inside, even though the Main Gate does not open in time.
