3 players: 10, 6, 6, 0; 4 players: 9, 4, 4, 0; 5 players: 8, 3, 3, 0 for rounds 1 to 4. New cards are added to what is left in hand, so you do not top up to a fixed hand size and may hold more than the starting count.
