How does the 2x2 Boss move when told to move one space?

He moves one full row or column per movement point, not one square: the Boss is 2x2, so he leaves two of his spaces behind each time he moves. If walls or boulders block his route, he takes the shortest available path toward his goal and does not shrink to squeeze past; if no allowed move gets him closer he stays put. His facing is irrelevant, so rotate him freely.
