Can one attack or Schematic damage the Boss more than once?

No. Each damage source does only 1 damage to the Boss, even when he covers four squares, because the shield comes back up after the first hit. A later designer ruling reversed the earlier 2016 reply that a Schematic hitting him in two directions could count twice when two shields were down; now each Schematic damages him at most once. Choose the color before the damage.
