Do Minions or the Boss deactivate Rune Spaces, and does the Bomb trigger them?
The rulebook only says Mechs step on Runes; players agree Minions, the Boss and the Bomb do not trigger them.

No. Only player-controlled Mechs deactivate Rune Gates and Rune Shields by entering a matching Rune Space (a Mech pushed onto it counts). The Bomb has no Rune effect.
