Does a Tough status on a character stop damage that a Forced Interrupt would reduce, such as Thanos' Armor?

Tough takes priority. Status card abilities have timing priority over conflicting card abilities, so the Tough status prevents all of the damage and is discarded, and the armor's reduction does not keep it.
