What happens if Marked for Death is revealed while Mockingbird is under another player's control?
The official Rules Reference states this directly.
- Marvel Champions: The Card Game Reference · Official document · MARKED FOR DEATH (#28)
The Clint Barton player must still search for Mockingbird in hand, deck, discard and play, but cannot place one under Marked for Death because a unique character with that title is already in play. When Marked for Death is defeated, any Mockingbird in play returns to its owner's hand.
