When Looking for Trouble finds no minion in the encounter deck, what happens to the search and the threat removal?

Question

Accepted Answer

No minion is put into play and no threat is removed. The Rules Reference says a discard-until effect stops when the encounter deck empties, and the normal empty-deck rule (reshuffle, add an acceleration token) applies. One reply argues there is no reshuffle, which conflicts with the Reference.
