What brings a hero's nemesis set into play?

A nemesis set enters play only when a card dealt as an encounter card says so, such as Shadows of the Past. Using that card as a boost card does not trigger it. The matching nemesis and its scheme come in, and the hero's other nemesis cards are shuffled into the encounter deck.
