Do all players have to use the new Uprising ship boards, and can the new boards be used without the expansion?
Everyone should use the same kind: either all players use the new ship boards or none do, and the Uprising modules need the new boards. The new boards also work in the base game, and you can keep your old boards and simply add the new cards, but then you miss some of the expansion's new aspects.
